Awesome review! I use my scale a LOT- the increments was the biggest selling point for mine. My old one had 5g increments which drove me nutty (no doubt a good thing to help being less obsessive, but accuracy is needed sometimes!) How much does it cost? I think mine is on it’s last legs… I never heard of a scale converting fluids before. I weigh solids and measure liquids.

Thanks for the review! I have a really old school scale that I use faithfully but it’s definitely not accurate! I’ll have to look into that brand!

  3. I love that my scale converts to ounces.

I think playing with number is a great way to stay on track and thank you so much for the review!!

Great review! I love how modern and sleek that scale is. I’ll keep it in mind when my old scale gives out :)

  6. If I ever “go anal” again, I’ll look into it. :-) Yay, it’s light so it’ll pack for home very easily!

Great review, one of these days i’m going to have to upgrade from my $10 wal mart special :)

  8. I would never use this to weigh food for eating but for baking (raw unbaking). So theoretically I could weigh like 30g of dates. Which sometimes may be 2 medjools and sometimes 5 depending on their size, but 30g is 30g. And 30g of almond flour vs. 30g of oat flour may be like 1/4 c vs 1/3 c because of bulk. Bottom line…I think this could be very cool for me. But then again, I am not that anal when I un-bake. I just go by feel. The opposite of high tech. Do you think I would like it? You dont have to reply…I hate it when people ask me in depth ?’s I would never know the answer to in my comments section LOL

Thanks for the review!! I also use my scale A LOT. While I no longer count calories, I’ve recognized that my perception of serving sizes are all out of whack! By far it gets used the most for measuring out nut butter, where the difference of a couple grams can actually equal several calories.

  11. I had a scale for a while but then one of my kids did something weird to it and it died. So thanks for the great review. Measuring our food can be a total eye-opener!

  12. Great product! I think I might get one of those for my mom for Christmas. Thanks for the review.

  13. Great review. I think a scale could be very useful for me… Well, measuring in general would probably not be a bad idea… ;)

I’ve actually been thinking about buying a new kitchen scale. The one we have is oooooold and it’s just not very practical!

I have had one desire for a food scale, and that is to find out, cup wise, how much a serving of pasta truly is. Because it totally isn’t what they tell you on the nutritional table, lol.

However, I think a food scale can be beneficial to people not watching their calories as well. I may look into one. Thanks for the review, dear!

That was a helpful review! I’ve been debating whether to get one for the longest time but I haven’t because I just have NO IDEA what to get and what to look for. I have to say though, your own kitchen scale looks…far more fancy than the EatSmart scale. heheheh Sorry!

I totally fell in love with your Paris romance post but didn’t get a chance to comment cuz my computer died on me, but AWWWWW lara!!! I love your hair all long and curly too! I tried perming my hair once and totally FRIED the ends. Won’t be doing that ever again! hahaa Hope you’re having a lovely weekend!! :)

  17. thanks for the review girl! I have a scale by ESCALI it does the job! and can be in grams, or oz! I dont measure everything but for some thigns its a great tool!

I would love to be the winner of this scale. I need to weigh just about every meal. I’m new to weight watchers and they suggest you weigh your food, but I can’t afford to buy their scale too.
